Dusseldorf Airport - Biz-Jets & General Aviation
There were only around a dozen biz-jets visible at any one time during my stay in early May 2019 although many more would no doubt be hangared. Jet Aviation operates the small Executive Terminal here solely for private and corporate customers. There were some `biz` arrivals and departures over the weekend but I was a bit disappointed with the overall number and variety seen here.
Embraer EMB-135BJ Legacy N135SG of United Aviation, on the right above, has been in storage here since 2010. It was snapped from the plane while taxiing to stand after arrival on Thursday 2 May. Boeing 737-7BQ(BBJ) N79711 (below) was photographed a few moments later. The VIP airliner is operated by Dallah BBJ LLC of Saudi Arabia and had been withdrawn from use since 5 November 2017 until being brought back online in January this year.
