*Page under construction*
Le Tommy Cafe sits on the Albert - Bapaume road, close to Pozieres and is the place to stop for a break if you are on a tour of the Somme Battlefields. It`s packed with memorabilia and its walls are covered in wartime photographs and posters. Outside, in the rear garden, a trench system has been recreated complete with dugouts occupied by figures dressed in the uniforms of the armies which fought in the conflict. A number of artillery pieces are also on display.

Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Allied troops, including of course vast number of British `Tommies` would have passed along the Albert - Bapaume road during the Great War. These galleries contains a selection of random images of British soldiers at various locations during the Somme Offensive.
