Aerial views of Dieppe: The shot on the left was taken during a daylight raid on shipping by 12 Lockheed Venturas of No. 487 Squadron RNZAF. One group of bombs is straddling the Quai du Hable and the entrance channel to the docks, while another cluster explodes on the cliff top above the Avant Port. The other view is a low-level reconnaissance photograph of the Dieppe waterfront taken by the Army Co-operation Command a few days before the raid.

This memorial to The Essex Scottish Regiment of Canada stands opposite the cemetery entrance. The inscription reads `To the Memory of Our Comrades who Gave Their Lives in World War II during the Raid on Dieppe, August 19, 1942 and during the Allied Advance through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany 1944-45 on The Road To Victory.`
